Saison - Farmhouse Ale

Fruity notes dominate the aroma of the saison. It is a clear thirst-quenching beer with a large foam head. The addition of various herbs and spices provides a complex fruity or citrus flavor. A saison should be quite dry. Most beers are golden blond to amber colored top fermented unfiltered beers. These beers have an alcohol content between 5% and 6.5%.
The beer gets its name from the French word for season. This beer was originally a seasonal beer.
